Hi, I’m Martin. I’ve been teaching English as a second language in Japan for over 25 years.

Throughout my teaching career, I’ve spent a great deal of time creating materials for my lessons. I started Instant ESL Worksheets to share those resources with teachers around the world and help them spend less time preparing and more time teaching.

The collection is designed for ESL teachers working with learners at different levels, with interesting topics that encourage conversation, curiosity and engagement. My aim is to offer practical, flexible worksheets that teachers can adapt to their own classrooms—free to preview, download and use.

Start with a useful lesson

The collection includes conversation, reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary activities at A1 to C2 for adults and teens, alongside beginner handwriting and number sheets for children. Every page shows the level, topic, teaching focus and suggested duration, alongside a full worksheet preview.
