A simple way to teach it

  1. Introduce the situation and practise useful phrases with the class.
  2. Read the two model conversations in pairs, then give each learner only their own role-card information.
  3. Allow preparation time, act out the scenario, then switch roles. Encourage follow-up questions rather than memorising a script.
