Before the lesson
Print the student sheet separately from the teacher key.
- Use the Spain and age answers to establish what information is being requested rather than translating whole sentences word by word.
- Pairs write the routine and work questions, checking whether the subject needs do or does.
- Finish by comparing the colour, bedroom-count and key-location questions with the models.
Support and extension
For support, offer a small question-word bank without giving the complete order. Stronger learners can answer two corrected questions about themselves.
Suggested approach. Adjust the pace and number of questions to suit your class.
