A simple way to teach it
- Introduce the situation and review useful phrases with the class.
- Read the two model conversations in pairs, then give each learner only their own role-card information.
- Allow preparation time. Encourage learners to explain constraints, ask follow-up questions and agree a workable outcome, then switch roles.
Suggested approach. Adjust the pace and number of questions to suit your class.
