Before the lesson
Use the first page for study and checking. Establish meanings of convincing and persuasive before focusing on more / most.
- Read the three columns and identify the consistent more / the most pattern.
- Cover the reference if appropriate and fill the 15 missing forms, checking which column each gap belongs to.
- Check against page 1. Optionally compare two arguments and identify the most convincing argument in a named group.
Support and extension
For support, keep the reference visible. For an extension, explain why an argument is more logical or a solution more practical. Do not combine more with an -er ending. The optional argument task is not supplied in the PDF; choose or invent examples.
