- 8 discussion-writing prompts about fast food
- Reasons, examples and personal experience

Before the lesson
Review convenience, advertising and restrictions. Choose a manageable number of prompts for the available time and allow imagined examples rather than personal diet disclosures.
- Read a prompt and identify whether it asks for an explanation, preference or policy opinion.
- Write developed answers using a clear point and supporting reason or example. Give the government-restriction question a balanced response if appropriate.
- Compare with selected page 2 models and revise one answer for clarity or stronger support. Optionally discuss a different viewpoint in pairs.
Support and extension
For support, use point → reason → example frames. For an extension, qualify a claim or add a counterargument. The models contain opinions and possible explanations, not verified nutrition or business research. Judge the quality of support, not agreement with a particular restaurant preference.
Suggested approach. Adjust the pace and number of questions to suit your class.
