Before the lesson
Allow imaginary-person answers and skipped personal questions. Review frequency expressions and enough topic vocabulary to write comfortably.
- Read the prompts and identify what each asks. Model one full-sentence response, then keep page 2 for checking after learners attempt their own answers.
- Write complete answers to chosen habit questions, distinguishing frequency from quantity of sleep.
- Check grammar against the examples, then optionally describe an imagined person's routine.
Support and extension
Do not request health diagnoses, weight or private smoking/diet information. Avoid judging bodies or habits. This is English-writing practice, not medical advice; evaluate language rather than the health claims in example responses. There are 13 prompts. For support, provide a few sentence starters or let learners rehearse orally first. Use the models to notice useful language while preserving each learner's own meaning.
Suggested approach. Adjust the pace and number of questions to suit your class.
