A simple way to teach it
Before the lesson
Draw a line for before leaving, during the journey and after arrival.
- Ask learners where they would place passport and arrival on the line.
- Pairs solve the puzzle and compare which travel setting fits the platform and boarding clues.
- Check luggage and suitcase, then ask learners to describe a trip using one word from each stage.
Support and extension
Give learners a simple itinerary and ask them to add three useful labels from the crossword.
