Before the lesson
Provide two student pages and reserve the explained key for feedback.
- Let students complete the hypothetical-income item without converting it into a first conditional for them.
- Compare the free-tour response with the evidence from other items before deciding whether modal meaning needs revision.
- Ask learners to expand the student-who sentence with their own relative clause, then revisit an enough error if needed.
Support and extension
Use a different example when checking the correction. Forms 1-3 can offer fresh practice, but their totals are not calibrated measures of progress.
Suggested approach. Adjust the pace and number of questions to suit your class.
